Healthy Snacks

Do you love chips and a crunchy snacks but don’t like the fat or calories? Well I sure do but as you know greasy chips are NOT kind to our waist line! So I have a delicious chip alternative. Kale chips! They are so good and my kids LOVE them! I have a hard time keeping in the house. Almost as soon as I get them out of the oven the kids dive right in.

You can buy kale at pretty much every grocery store. I like to find a batch with the smallest leaves. They make a better chip. This year we have planted a beautiful garden. I am so excited about our Organic Garden. Plus we only used NON-GMO seeds.  With the family loving kale chips we planted a bunch of kale.

Kale Chips

Pre-heat the oven to 275*F

Cut off the steams off the kale. Place kale into a large bowl

Drizzle oil on top of the kale just until moist. Sprinkle with salt then toss together.

Lay each piece of kale flat onto a cookie sheet.  Sprinkle with Garlic. (You can use other spices if you prefer)

This is my favorite spice for these kale chips. Roasted Garlic & Herb

Bake at 275*F for 20 minutes or unit crisp.

Enjoy!!
